High School English Teacher (Grades 9–12)

Oceans Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School English Teacher for students in grades 9–12. We are looking for an educator who values academic excellence, mentorship, and strong Islamic character development.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of teaching experience and a sincere commitment to helping students grow academically, personally, and spiritually in a positive Islamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach English and language arts to high school students
• Support students in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and communication skills
• Create engaging lesson plans and classroom activities
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence
• Maintain a respectful and organized classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff and parents to support student success

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
• Strong English subject knowledge
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for mentoring and working with youth
• Alignment with Islamic values and Oceans Academy’s mission
