Middle School English Teacher (Grades 6–8)

Oceans Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School English Teacher for students in grades 6–8. We are looking for an educator who values academic excellence, positive mentorship, and strong Islamic character.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of teaching experience and a sincere passion for helping students grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually in a supportive Islamic learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach English and language arts to middle school students
• Support students in reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills
• Create engaging and organized lesson plans
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in students
• Maintain a respectful, positive, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff and parents to support student success

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
• Strong English subject knowledge
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and mentoring youth
